Our Wood River Ranch cow hunt is in a natural wintering ground and a popular destination for herds of elk in the late season. We have exclusive hunting rights on over 32,000 acres of the areas best late season habitat. In most cases you and your group will be the only hunters on the property. This is a limited quota draw hunt in area 62-5, 63-6, 63-4 with application Jan 3rd thru Jan 31st. This nonresident tag is fairly easy to draw, and clients typically draw annually. All meals are at the lodge and you will be staying in the Hawks Rest .  We also now offer the Bunkhouse for groups of 4-6 hunters where you provide your own meals, kitchen and barbecue onsite.  You and your guide will depart from the Ranch each day in a heated UTVs. Cow Elk Season opens October 22nd and close Dec 21st.
